Hello! I haven’t posted in awhile, as I have been plagued with some computer issues, and I am just returning from a vacation on Vancouver Island for my friend’s wedding. It was a lovely day and beautiful venue at the Black Rock Resort in Ucluelet, BC. All the beauty of the island has motivated me to update my own outdoor space so I will spend more time there! This is what it looks like now….
Although the space has lots of potential, it is clear it needs some serious work to be an inviting space to spend time in or invite others over to enjoy. My plan is to create a dining area on the deck and and outdoor living room in the courtyard area. I have been scouring the internet for outdoor spaces that inspire me and have a come up with the few. Although none of these spaces will work entirely in my space (or budget), they all have great elements that I might want to incorporate in my plan.
I love the casual vintage feel of this outdoor dining set-up. The blue tones in the accessories are calming and casual. Photo via Harvest.
