So if you are interested in interior design you have heard of David Hicks. He was an interior decorator and designer who was famous for his use of bold and vibrant colours and patterns and for mixing antique and modern furnishings and contemporary art in his spaces. His soaces are incredibly interesting but the patterns and fabric styles he used back in the 60s and 70s have proven to be timeless with similar patterns cropping up frequently over the past 30 years.  His son Ashley Hicks has designed a line of David Hicks fabrics for Lee Jofa.  Today I’ve compiled of David’s great interiors and paired them with the David Hicks fabrics…. and let me tell you, these spaces are just a whole lotta fabulous.

What a gorgeous bunch of rooms!  Some may be a bit over the top, but these rooms have lots of interest and lots of glamour.  But at the same time, they aren’t so fussy that you couldn’t lounge around and enjoy them.  What a great design icon.

Have a great day!
